Sensitive Information

Home Ahead may collect sensitive information because housing-support reviews often require understanding a participant’s financial, housing, credit, mortgage, income, family, or hardship circumstances. Home Ahead seeks to collect information that is reasonably necessary for the purpose explained or reasonably understood in the circumstances.

Section 5

Home Ahead generally does not require a Social Insurance Number to begin an inquiry or general assessment. In some cases, a SIN or other government identifier may be requested or required by a third-party provider, financial institution, lender, licensed professional, credit provider, government-related process, or other service provider involved in a specific transaction or review. Where required, this information should be handled according to the applicable provider’s process and consent requirements.

Call Recording and Communications Records

Some calls may be recorded, monitored, transcribed, summarized, or reviewed for quality, training, compliance, documentation, participant support, dispute resolution, and operational purposes. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, because apparently the internet was built by optimists and maintained by chaos.

Section 15

Access, Correction and Withdrawal

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or clarification regarding their personal information by contacting Home Ahead. Individuals may also withdraw consent where withdrawal is legally and practically possible. Withdrawal may limit Home Ahead’s ability to provide services, complete reviews, communicate, administer programs, or continue a process.
